One prisoner was captured during a gazwa and was temporarily locked in the room that was used by Hazrat Aisha (رضی اللہ عنھا). Hazrat Aisha (رضی اللہ عنھا) was busy in speaking to other women when that prisoner escaped. When Nabi ﷺ came to home, he ﷺ did not see this prisoner; Hazoor Nabi ﷺ became angry and said to Hazrat Aisha (رضی اللہ عنھا): “your hands may be chopped”. The companions searched for this prisoners and after lot of effort found him, Hazoor Nabi ﷺ when came back to home, he ﷺ saw that Hazrat Aisha (رضی اللہ عنھا) is turning her hands and looking at them Hazrat Ayesha Saddiqui رضی اللہ عنھا said that I was looking which hand will be cut. Prophet ﷺ smiled and prayed for Hazrat Ayehsa رضی اللہ عنھا. In previous lines it was mentioned the incident of prisoner fleeing from the house and then getting arrested. In this incident you read that Prophet ﷺ said in harsh words to her respectable wife “your hand may be cut”. Hazrat Ayesha رضی اللہ عنھا accepted her mistake. She did not become rigid or stubborn rather she got Hazrat ﷺ agreed in such a beautiful way that He smiled.
Read this incident again and again and see how an amazing wife turned a bad incident into a beautiful talk. How much Prophet ﷺ loved all His respectable wives especially Hazrat Ayesha رضی اللہ عنھا this can be assessed from previous incidents but still this love did not let her lessen any of her responsibility. However Hazrat Ayesha رضی اللہ عنہ used to take care of all requirements of Prophet ﷺ and used to do it with full efficiency. Once Prophet ﷺ wore a blanket and came into mosque, one of the person said it has spots on it. Prophet ﷺ sent it instantly to Hazrat Ayesha رضی اللہ عنھا and she washed the blanket and dried in afternoon and sent it again to Prophet ﷺ.
